Each ScentDay scent target, matched against the library by note overlap. A shortlist, not a decision — these are candle and soap oils, so laundry performance is unproven until samples are smelled and tested.
The complete fragrance-oil catalogues of two US suppliers, captured on 21 September 2026. VineVida contributes 624 unique scents, each sold in both a soap & candle and a cold-air diffuser formulation. CandleScience contributes 317. Together, 938 of the 941 carry a full three-tier note pyramid.
Every scent has Shortlist and Maybe buttons. What you mark is saved to the page and visible to everyone else who has it open — the Picks tab groups all of it by person, and you can leave a note on any of your own picks explaining the choice. Use the "Picked by anyone" filter in the catalog to see only what has been marked.
The coloured rail beside each tier tracks volatility — how quickly that layer leaves the material. Top notes are the first impression and the first to go; middle notes are the heart; base notes are heavy molecules that linger longest. In laundry this matters more than in a candle: tops largely flash off in dryer heat, so what a customer smells on stored fabric weeks later is mostly the base.
CandleScience publishes, free and per fragrance, a safety data sheet, an IFRA certificate (51st Amendment) and an EU allergen statement — linked on every card that has them. It also publishes vanillin content, which predicts yellowing on white fabric, and a measured cold-process discolouration rating.

VineVida sells each oil from a 10 mL sample up to 50 lb drums, so a scent can be smelled for a few dollars before any bulk commitment.

These are candle, soap and bath-and-body oils. Nothing here has been tested for surviving a wash cycle or dryer heat on fabric — laundry substantivity is unproven and is not implied by any listing.
A good oil is not automatically encapsulatable. Microcapsule compatibility has to be confirmed separately with whoever makes the capsules.
Check the IFRA category. Published certificates cover the applications these suppliers sell into. Laundry needs Category 12 for in-wash boosters and dryer sheets, and Category 10A for detergent sheets.
Never print a designer reference. VineVida's "inspired by" oils are dupes of designer fragrances — fine to buy and use, but the referenced brand must never appear on a label, listing or advert.
VineVida runs on Shopify, so the catalogue came from its public product feed — 2,846 products, filtered to the 1,248 fragrance-oil entries and deduplicated to 624 unique scents. CandleScience runs a JavaScript app; its 344 fragrance URLs came from the sitemap and were fetched as rendered pages. Its rate limiter serves a stripped placeholder after roughly 150 requests, so the run was throttled and re-fetched until complete. The 27 URLs without pyramids are essential oils and sampler sets, not single fragrances.
